show us where you live friday - living room edition

Kelly over at Kelly's Korner has challenged the blogging world to show us where you live. Each Friday she is focusing on a separate area of the house. At first, I figured you wouldn't care about our tiny little space. Then I realized that it would be a fun way to show the family where I'm living and most importantly have a comparison by which to fully appreciate the new house.

ETA: Please keep in mind that we are currently building a house. We know our current space is SMALL and lacking in most areas. Keep the comments real. Anything regarding the most adorable cat in the world, is obviously the honest truth... letting us know we have the most spacious and gorgeous home ever... not so much!

Make sure you check out the other blogs participating in the Living Room Edition and without further ado...

I interrupted Gabby's regularly scheduled afternoon nap to snap some pictures while the living room was freshly cleaned - hence Roomba's tracks on the floor.

View of the couch and side table - note the super fancy (i.e. I tend to break it) touch screen remote docked under the table...

View of the rest of the room including TV and "Gabby's" chair with her bed and my N.A.P. set from Brookstone

No more pictures, I'm sleeping!

Roomba and my MacBook "sleep" next to the TV

Gabby hanging out in her usual spot in "her" chair

Hope you enjoyed our living room. In case it was too much for you to take in all at once, let me recap the highlights: Gabby, my super soft N.A.P. pillow and blanket from Brookstone, fancy remote control, Roomba, XBox360, and PS3.

See you next Friday! In the meantime, feel free to show us where YOU live!

Hey girl, you know I "get" the rent thing, doing it myself. Your cat is adorable and makes me miss my cat. I had to give her to my parents when I met my hubby - massively allergic to cats. And does the Roomba work well? I've always wondered. I think your living room is clean and simple. Getting you ready to just bust out on decorating when you move, right?

Gotta have a place for the MacBook. Love it.

Your place is very clean. Gabby is adorable but I'm afraid Kita would eat her. She's weird with cats even though I think she acts like one.

You're the first person I've seen with a Roomba. That's awesome!

=)

Kimmie- your comment about my front door tickled me; up close, it looks like a bunch of coke bottle bottoms fused together! Gabby looks very snuggly and I love your military cupcakes! Thanks for remembering the spouses!

Thank you for stopping by to check out my family room! Yours is simple, but looks so comfortable and inviting. Can't wait to see the house you are building!

Awww, Gabby is the cutest! Makes me miss our old furrball - her name was Pitter. ;)
Okay, this is bad... but question for you.... remember last week, you entered your kitchen post into a box and it showed up on 'the list?' Do we do that again with our kitchens? I couldn't figure it out, couldn't find Kelly's email addy, etc!
