christmas dinner

I kept Christmas dinner* super simple for the two of us this year. I made sure to incorporate lamb, a tradition in Zach's family, and small recipes that wouldn't leave the two of us eating leftovers for weeks. The roasted asparagus and mushrooms were the star of the show - it's amazing what a little garlic and capers can do to a dish. Oh, and butter, lots of butter.

All in all we had a lovely dinner and an absolutely delightful Christmas. Thank you so much to our friends and families who reminded us just how loved we are.
